The 2.0-litre and 2.2-litre diesel engines are both relatively refined and offer good fuel economy and pace. Buyers shouldn’t worry about reliability either, with all Kias covered by a seven-year warranty. On the road, the Sorento is comfortable enough to make long motorway journeys pass by quickly and feels planted in the corners but it struggles to deliver any sort of driving thrills.
